Protaras offers a great choice of tavernas, family friendly, a lot of outdoor dining and offering delicious local specialities and a pleasant dining experience.

Larnaca has tavernas with international fame as to its meat specialities. Delicious meat cooked in special wood oven or barbequed from the district’s farm areas. Fish is also delicious and an easy catch as Larnaca is another coastal town.

A fine choice of tavernas is found in Nicosia with fresh fish arriving from coastal areas, meat from nearby farms and all deliciously cooked. Lot’s of taverns are found in and around Ayia Napa, serving the traditional ‘meze’ a short name of ‘mezedhes’, a variety of dishes. Ayia Napa originally a fishing village, offers fish meze choice of taverns or traditional ones, with music or without, always with a warm and hospitable welcome.

Paphos, a production area of many natural products, offers great food too in all tavernas. In Paphos one may find great fish and if one travels further uphill, out of town, excellent baby lamb or other meat product. There are tavernas even in remote areas, and usually they re famous for some local speciality.

The Tavernas, being the 'national restaurant' is well presented in all locations and with all local specialities. In Limassol, the city center is proposing mostly Tavernas with food and music (or without), coastal areas offer Fish Taverns and the city heights or nearby villages, traditional meat ‘mezze’ specialities.
