Revenue from tourism reached €259.8m in June 2013 compared to €254.5m in the corresponding month of the previous year, recording an increase of 2,1%, on the basis of the results of a Passenger Survey conducted by Cyprus’ Statistical Service.

This is the first increase in revenue from tourism, after the decline recorded in the previous two months (April and May) by 3.7% and 5.7%, respectively.

According to available data, during the first half of 2013, revenue from tourism fell 1.06%, to €671m from €678.2m in the corresponding period of 2012.
