Cyprus Airways was awarded by the Athens International Airport Awards this month. The AIA, as part of its annual Airline Marketing Workshop, awards the airlines that have demonstrated the fastest growth and have increased passenger numbers during the past year.
Cyprus Airways was awarded Best of the TOP-10 Airlines Award. As the overall fastest growing airline, Cyprus Airways was among the ten airlines that recorded the highest passenger traffic at the Athens International Airport in 2012.
Other categories for the AIA awards, include: Best Performing new Airline, Fastest Growing Airlines in a Thin Route, Highest raking European Destination, highest Ranking non European destination, Fastest growing Airline award per geographical region, Most New Destinations, Fastest Growing Airline / Seasonal Routes Award and Highest Ranking European Destination.
