Ayia Thekla is located three kilometers west of the center of Ayia Napa. It is a small beach that has gotten its name from an old church in the area. This beach with fine, golden sand has a length of 300 meters and a width 25 meters. The waves are usually mild. There are lifeguards and lifeguard equipment from 10:00 to 18:00. Water sports are available from a small specialty shop nearby. The beach is within walking distance from the main road leading to Agia Napa and can be reached by car, motorcycle, and bicycle or on foot.
