The CTO in its efforts to promote Cyprus to Chinese visitors is aiming to attract approximately 10,000 Chinese Tourists. Paphos Mayor is trying to secure some of these visitors in his area with direct flights for Paphos airport.
Other than the Chinese market, Russian investors are also promoting Paphos and the area by organizing a Sailing Regatta in the course of 2013.The yachtsmen /businessmen have already berthed vessels in 2012 for training and mini cruises. They are promoting the event on an international level to attract foreign participation.
