Nissi Beach is located in Ayia Napa, and it is the number one beach spot in town. It is extremely popular among younger crowds, since a lot of live programs take place there. Nissi Beach has two connecting beaches that are totally opposite, with one being small and quiet, and the other being long and lively. Nissi Beach is also stretching for 500m, and it has been rewarded with a blue flag. Nissi Beach is another beach that offers visitors water sport facilities, for instance pedal boating, wind surfing, water-skiing, and two bungee jump services. Besides the water sport services, there are also two beach volley ball courts that the public can use at any time.

Tourists love this beach because they can walk up to a hundred meters, and the water remains at the level of their waist. Nissi, in Greek, means “small island” and the beach was given that name because of a small island located there that visitors can walk to through shallow water. At the central area of the beach, there is also a bar called Nissi Bay Beach Bar that hosts foam parties and beach parties with top of the name DJ’s, and during peak months, this area is extremely crowded, the music is loud and clothing is almost non existing. Thus, Nissi Beach is not the ideal family spot for most of vacation makers, but for those who visit Ayia Napa to have fun and party, Nissi Beach is the PERFECT place to be.
