Petreon Sculpture Park is ideally set in the coastal village of Mazotos, just 10 minutes drive from Larnaka city. Petreon sculpture park took its name from the Greek word "Petra" meaning stone.

The Park is the completion of the dream of the artist Savvas Koulendros and his 14.000 hours of work. It consists an open-air exhibition with stone pieces varying in sizes, a small stone church with a collection of hand-painted byzantine icons, the Archontariki were various exhibitions are hosted and the small amphitheatre Liasidion, that hosts poetry and music nights on summer evenings.

The visitor can see an extensive collection of small sculptures scattered through our the park and the grounds and a growing collection of large-scale sculptures including the dominating 8,5-meter high sculpture of Petreos, the man that was born out of stone. While walking through the park, plant lovers have the opportunity to see a great range of Meditteranean fruit trees, flowers and other plans, including of more than 200 different varieties of cactuses in picturesque surroundings.
