Emirates Airline has celebrated 18 years of presence in Cyprus since its arrival in 1994!

The award winning airline is operating 2 flights from Larnaca daily; Malta in the morning and Dubai in the afternoon. In a total of 1068 seats on its Airbus 340 – 300 from and to Cyprus and 13 tons of cargo per flight on Emirates Sky Cargo, the airline has transferred more than 60,000 passengers and 4.200 tons in cargo (export & import) in the last year.

Emirates with its state-of-the art fleet, is offering first class sleeper seats, spacious Business class and plenty of leg room on Economy. Passengers travelling on First on Business class tickets have the option of booking a complimentary a chauffeur driven car for their transfer to the airport.

Dubai is the favourite destination of Cypriot travelers on Emirates, even though Far East destinations such as China, India or even Australia are becoming more popular. Indian Ocean exotic islands are still a favourite and so is Manila and Bangkok.Emirates is flying to over 100 destinations from Dubai and still exploring new ones.

The airline has been awarded its third Centre for Aviation (CAPA) Airline of the year Award earlier this month. This prestigious award is granted to the airline that has proven its impact on the development in the airline industry and has established itself as a leader.
