Old BusUnfortunately buses are the only means of public transport in Cyprus as there are no trains or metro. Bus routes and frequency are continuously being improved therefor for accurate timetables it is best to contact the bus company that operates the routes you are interested in.

Urban buses link different areas within the respective towns and operate frequently during the day. In many tourist areas, during the summer period, their service is extended till late in the evening. A different company operates in each town. The companies that provide the urban bus service also operate routes to all the villages in the same district, with up to 10 roundtrips a day on weekdays, and at least two on Sundays. For exact timetables contact the respective company. Intercity Buses -  transport between the towns of Lefkosia, Lemesos, Larnaka, Pafos and Ammochostos is provided by a single and separate company. Buses run daily and quite frequently. For exact timetables contact the Intercity Buses Co Ltd,

A recently introduced shuttle bus service between the main cities and Larnaka International Airport is the most inexpensive and environment-friendly way to get to the airport. Take advantage of it! As this service is continually gaining popularity and itineraries are regularly being reviewed, it is best to consult the bus companies directly for exact times. 1.
